-This source was used to determine the MACRS depreciation for my photovoltaic solar panel system.


ANSI/ASHRAE. (2007). Standard 62.1-2007, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality. Atlanta, GA: American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Condition Engineers, Inc.

-ASHRAE Std. 62.1 was used to find numbers and calculations as well as to check for acceptable levels.

-ASHRAE Std. 90.1 was used to check efficiency values.

-The coefficients for pressure drops through ducts were found here (as well as the process to calculate them).


Deru, M., & Torcellini, P. (2007). Source Energy and Emission Factors for Energy Use in Buildings. National Renewable Energy Laboratory, 5-28.

-This source was used for determining emissions from the different building designs.

-The size and thickness of different ductwork was found here.

-This database shows the incentives for different green technologies in each state. This was crucial in determining what incentives the photovoltaic solar array could get.

-The architctural drawings were used for take off calculations.

-Take off calculations were done using the mechanical plans. A majority of information was pulled from these drawings throughout this thesis report.

-TRACE was used both for building load calculations as well as an energy model.

 

U.S. Green Building Council. LEED 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovations. Washington, D.C., 2008.

-The LEED document was used in determining what points Hunter's Point South School would receive for a LEED's rating.
